I called Skylight Specialist just to inquire about replacing a cracked skylight that my wife and I had been dealing with for over half a year. I was pleasantly surprised to be talking with very competent people that were more than happy to come out and look at the potential job, take measurements and give me an estimate the very next day. In less than a week, my wife and I were enjoying TWO new skylights that had been skillfully installed in here home office, in less than an hour. The new gas filled, flat glass skylights replaced plastic domes that were outdated and very energy inefficient. They are beautiful and we couldn’t be more happy. I recently had two electronic skylights replaced due to hail damage. The significant point that I want to make is that Skylight Specialist exhibited friendliness and professionalism throughout the process. There were hiccups along the way but they are a company determined to stand by their customers and satisfy in whatever is necessary and reasonable.

We recently had Skylight Specialists install a 2’x4’ Velux skylight in our kitchen, which was dark in the morning. The results were transformational; the area is now bathed in light and far more pleasant than it had been. Our experience with Skylight Specialists was top quality from our first contact to job completion. All employees were friendly, concerned, and helpful. The skylight and the newly constructed shaft are beautiful. Most importantly, there was a glitch in the installation that needed to be addressed. Skylight Specialists was on it immediately. They responded quickly to my phone call and setup an appointment in a couple of days. Was provided a competitive quote for repair parts and labor. Turns out my current skylight was old and parts are no longer available (verified). My rep put together a justification letter for the insurance company that a new skylight was needed and was approved. A installation date was set up and the skylights were installed as promised. Overall I was very satisfied and would recommend them.

From the Salesperson to the Techs, this was a wonderful experience. All were professional and friendly. Caden and Jared were the techs and worked non-stop to get it just right which wasn’t an easy job as it was difficult getting the sun-tubes to fit between the joists. They replaced 4 old 12” tubes with 14” tubes. Jared came back the following day as he was determined to make it perfect and worked for hours to achieve this goal. It’s not always pleasant working with contractors but the people at Skylights Specialists make it easy! I highly recommend this company!

Skylight Specialists are incredible. We had a complex job of replacing five panels all of differing shapes in a house on a mountain-side. From our initial call with Devin, to the advice from Mark, to the install led by Nick, the work was impeccable. Despite custom everything, they got the job done quickly and before the season change. I worked with Jenna and she was responsive and answered any questions I had. We had them out for an emergency cover after the huge hail storm in Littleton and they were able to squeeze us in same day even with it being towards the end of their work hours. Skylight specialists replaced our old acrylic dome skylights with Velux. We are extremely happy with the final product. A bit of a hiccup with final billing, but we finally managed to get it sorted. Would still give them 5 stars overall

They also put a very large skylight in my front room which made a world of difference. They all look wonderful and make my home so light and bright. This company truly does everything exactly how they say. The job was supposed to maybe take a half to a whole day, and finished within about 2 hours. We didn’t have and roof issues, or needing other supplies. We had older Velux skylights, and didn’t have any west side openings or venting for our top floor which gets the hottest in this old house. These new skylights with the light blocking shades and venting are a blessing! I’m so happy they close automatically with rain in Colorado! We are very pleased with our skylights and the solar blinds. Also, the installation went very smoothly. They were very conscientious in making sure the installation was correct and explained what they had to do to remake the skylight boxes as the VELUX window would not work with our old existing boxes. We have had a very hard rain downpour since the installation and NO leaks.

These guys did great work on our house! I work in construction, and I was wary of having just anyone cut into my roof and framing, which is why I went with Skylight Specialists. They are a certified Velux installer, and they work together with certified drywall company to provide full-service installation and repair. Our install was a little more complicated because we wanted a big skylight with a skylight well in our kitchen. It required some additional framing and moving of electrical, but the installers were professional and accommodating at every step. They put down and removed site protection every single day they were on site, and made sure to leave the space in usable condition at the end of each day. Our attic access is really small, but they never complained about having to crawl through the tight space. We got some minor pushback about filing a building permit with the city, but in the end, they handled the submittal and inspections for an additional fee as we discussed. In the end, it turned out even better than I imagined, and we are now considering adding a second skylight in our entry, as well as several Sun tunnels throughout the house. The complete installation took 2 days, with final drywall texturing and finishing happening a couple weeks after. Every time I stand in my kitchen, it makes me happy.

We had two sun tunnels installed in an interior hallway. The work turned out very nice, and the drywall company they recommended for patching the hole where our evaporative cooler had been also did a great job. You would never know it had been there.

I can't thank Josh and the people at Skylight Specialists enough!! My partner and I work on the frontlines and in the beginning of the pandemic, we were selected for a Sun Tunnel giveaway. As an NP, I was working 12-15 hours a day and as the cases of SARS-CoV-2 continued on, my partner was equally exhausted in her work as a therapist. We rarely saw the light of day during this time. Josh Hannon was incredibly patient and worked with us amid the chaos and our ever-changing hours for installation. The installer, Paul was incredible and the Sun Tunnel is just perfect, brightening up our once-dark farmhouse dining room! This was even more appreciated after I contracted the virus and ended up in the hospital, then quarantine and prolonged recovery, requiring oxygen at home. The added brightness helped as we had to put our beloved Goldendoodle down and the ray of light highlighted the many wonderful flowers we received from loved ones. It's been a difficult year and the muddy recovery from this virus is unrelenting, but I will be forever grateful for this gift of light- especially as we are now working from home as we can and the dining room is now my partner's office. I had a great experience from beginning to end. Josh came out to my house initially. He made his suggestions of what he thought might be best for the entrance of my hone but, of course, he left it up to me to make the final decision. I decided on a sun tunnel! James was the installer. He was on-time, friendly, professional and did a great job with the installation...even with the crazy winds we've had recently. I love my sun tunnel...I am very happy with the end result and may even consider getting a second one.

James showed up on time & was so professional & friendly. He worked hard to find the correct spot to place my new sun tunnel & it was not easy. I have a 100 year old house & it has challenges as new owners over the years kept on building additions. Paul came to lend a hand & the job was quickly finished. They laid down plastic & vacuumed anything beyond. These two guys are very sweet & so pleasant to talk to. All in all it was like having family members over! I love my sun tunnel, especially the solar night light! I love it so much, in fact, I might put one in my hall. And a skylight surely would be nice in my bathroom! We had two sun tunnels installed about 3 weeks ago. So far, we really enjoy the extra sunlight. The installers were friendly and experienced. As far as the tunnels leaking, we just went thru that March 2016 blizzard and everything is fine.

We had a very positive experience. Our installers Brad and Austin were respectful of our personal belongings and cleaned up before they left. My Solar sun tunnels put out the perfect amount of daytime light. I'm extremely happy and impressed.

I have used Skylight Specialists for many years now. I keep adding sun tunnels for more light in darker places in my home. They also put a very large skylight in my front room which made a world of difference. They all look wonderful and make my home so light and bright. The installers are always on time and take extra care when installing. I would definitely recommend them!!!!!

These guys did great work on our house! I work in construction, and I was wary of having just anyone cut into my roof and framing, which is why I went with Skylight Specialists. They are a certified Velux installer, and they work together with certified drywall company to provide full-service installation and repair. Our install was a little more complicated because we wanted a big skylight with a skylight well in our kitchen. It required some additional framing and moving of electrical, but the installers were professional and accommodating at every step. They put down and removed site protection every single day they were on site, and made sure to leave the space in usable condition at the end of each day. Our attic access is really small, but they never complained about having to crawl through the tight space. We got some minor pushback about filing a building permit with the city, but in the end, they handled the submittal and inspections for an additional fee as we discussed. In the end, it turned out even better than I imagined, and we are now considering adding a second skylight in our entry, as well as several Sun tunnels throughout the house. The complete installation took 2 days, with final drywall texturing and finishing happening a couple weeks after. Every time I stand in my kitchen, it makes me happy.

Skylight Specialties did a great job from start to finish on our 3 sun tunnels. Devin was very easy to work with and the install team was awesome. We love the new look. Highly recommended for anyone needing skylights.

Devin and Jake of Skylight Specialists installed three sun tunnels for me a couple of days ago. The job took one day even with a few obstacles, one being the intermittent snow fall and the other being the configuration of my old home. These two gentlemen were respectful, knowledgeable, pleasant and proficient. They kept me informed of the status of the project all along the way. We had two sun tunnels installed in an interior hallway. The work turned out very nice, and the drywall company they recommended for patching the hole where our evaporative cooler had been also did a great job. You would never know it had been there.
